If you can find it - and it won't be easy - pick it up, just to say you've read a few stories. Williams, "The Majesty of Kindness: As much as I love all things biopunk, I found this book quite hard to get into. Along with the three blind mice and Flopsy, he works to free the other barnyard animals from the farmer.

May 10, Ivory rated it it was amazing. Di Filippo's visions are somewhat disturbing, especially in their humorist attitude towards his dystopian future where gene-eralization rules. This article is about dystopian science fiction genre. I have to be missing something here as this is so well rated, maybe I just don't get it.

It is derived of cyberpunk involving bio-hackersbiotech mega-corporationsand oppressive government agencies that manipulate human DNA. Some great characters and interesting stories all through. Lots of ribofknk equally clever stuff.
It was to be organized around a succession of strange terrestrial environments made possible by bioengineering. These characters are unique rribofunk each other but legibly compounds of their genetic sources.
I am pleased that Paul was able to answer a few of my questions for The Fix. I was really looking forward to having a new author to read, after Harlan Ellison spoke so highly of di Filippo, but no such luck!
Yeah, this one rribofunk a really difficult book to rate. You seem to move from strength to strength in your fiction, mixing genres and tropes in unique ways, never repeating the same story twice.
The other was how will biotechnology alter how humans live day-to-day? A future that is neither utopian or dystopian and pokes fun at the present and many ribofhnk fi tropes. AIDS is causing an intense and unprecedented investigation of cellular mechanics which is bound to have myriad by-products. Also, the shapes of stories are less pruned and diagrammatic, more nebulous and shaggy.
